Two Great Green Events Come to Robson Hall for October 26 and 27

Screening of Documentary: Green Rights: The Human Right To a Healthy World This will proceed on the evening of Wednesday October 26th, 2016 from 7:00 p.m. to approximately 9:00 p.m., in the Moot Court Room (MCR) at Robson Hall. Admission by donation. The documentary will last approximately 90 minutes, followed by approximately half hour after the documentary for Q & A. Silver Donald’s new book (Warrior Lawyers) will be on sale. A portion of the proceeds from book sales will be donated to the Manitoba Law Students’ Association (MLSA).

Distinguished Visitors Talk This talk will be on Thursday October 27th, 2016, at Robson Hall, Faculty of Law, University of Manitoba, 224 Dysart Road, Winnipeg, MB, R3T 2N2, in the Moot Court Room. The talk is entitled “Warrior Lawyers: From Manila to Manhattan, Attorneys for the Earth”. Silver Donald’s new book (Warrior Lawyers) will be on sale. A portion of the proceeds from book sales will be donated to the Manitoba Law Students’ Association (MLSA).

Silver Donald Cameron has just had his Warrior Lawyers: From Manila to Manhattan, Attorneys for the Earth book published and will soon be launching his Green Rights: The Human Right to a Healthy World documentary.

Warrior Lawyers is available both as a paperback and e-book and can be ordered online here. A four-minute trailer for Green Rights can be seen here. The 336-page Warrior Lawyers book includes fifteen interviews with lawyers from nine countries, plus an essay by the author. Council of Canadians chairperson Maude Barlow says the book is "moving, terrifying, inspirational – these stories stand as a beacon of hope in our troubled world."

Silver Donald Cameron, the author of 17 previous books, is host and executive producer of the feature documentary Green Rights: The Human Right to a Healthy World, (www.GreenRights.com) produced and directed by Chris Beckett, to be released in September, 2016. Cameron and Beckett also operate the subscription web site, www.TheGreenInterview.com, where full-length versions of these interviews – and dozens of others, in video and audio as well as text – are posted. Warrior Lawyers will be published in September, 2016.
